Greenwood Smelter

The Greenwood Smelter is located just west of Greenwood, at the current Lotzkar Park, which is situated at the mouth of Copper Creek (now called Mother Lode Creek) in the once town of Anaconda; just south of Greenwood in the Kootenay Boundary region of British Columbia, Canada.

This smelter was founded in the late 1800's, From 1901 to 1918, copper, gold and silver poured from its furnaces; fed by the great Motherload Mine.
